The story of Michael J. Motto Internet begins in 1969 when the late Mr. Motto founded the
advertising agency that bears his name. For three decades, Michael J Motto Advertising &
Public Relations played a leading role in middle market advertising for the New Jersey/New York/Pennsylvania region.
Over that time, MJM forged relationships and a business ethic that earned the agency wide respect in many fields.
The Internet
In 1995, after 11 years in Television Advertising, Jeff Bonnell brought his marketing expertise and
technological flair to the Agency, and soon launched the revolutionary MJM Internet Division. The phenomenal
growth of the Internet Division led Mr. Bonnell to partner with Mr. Motto in the establishment of a
new company, separate from the advertising firm. Michael J. Motto Internet, LLC or "MJMI" was born.
The Company
From the beginning, MJMI found its niche with a combination of marketing savvy and state-of-the-art
Internet tools for its clients. Equal priority was given to promotion, hosting power, online sales
generation and quality design. This "complete package" equation has continued to add up to impressive
growth for MJMI. Then Michael J. Motto Internet found itself the designer and host of a collection of
winners in the Ziff Davis/Automotive News Best Dealership Website National Awards, including taking
top honors for the Best Overall Site for three years in a row - 1999, 2000 and 2001.
